Fare Play

I’ve taken a lot of taxies over the last 4 months. I take one to work every day from the train station to the office, then, if I can’t scrounge a lift home I take one back to the station. Needless to say I’ve met a fairly broad range of people in these cabs. Cabbies are nearly always middle aged men, the same but wildly different, and for many people it is a fallback position from a stroke of bad luck – common in these hard economic times. Here’re some of the more memorable ones…
