Yeah Tom, I do intend to finish this guy and make the data files available to you as it progresses. The face is about 600 polygons, 300 of which are the ear.
I was in Berwick Upon Tweed this weekend with my parents. Here's a doodle inspired by a butcher up there.
butchers are a weird breed :) i like this a lot! tempting to do a sculpt of it.

Ah, yeah, I have. It's a fantastic animation! A long term fave of mine. I love that gracefully moving monster of a man. Pretty dark.
