Seeing if I can still draw cars...

Drone Command Vehicle

Some photobashing fun. Front end is a Merlin helicopter, then the rest is built from plastic tool boxes!

In the event of satellites being knocked out, drone pilots would need mobile operations deployable in war zones.

The front section is the fighty bit, then the pilots sit in the rear with the comms gear - closed off from the battlefield.

Inspired by watching this. Absolutely terrifying. (ignore the cheesy music)

Space Truck Thingie

Here'a a space truck. I'm not that happy with the presentation. Portrait doens't lend itself to vehicles, but I'm tired and not about to re-jig things.

There's a large universal joint in the center so it can drive over rough terrain and the moon and shit. The space between the rear wheels would be for various modular bits, which would be lifted in via magic (or cranes).

Doodle and a Bike

Trying to colour and break my habits. Not really sure what I was aiming for, but I didn't quite get to what I wanted. I'm pleased with the face though, and bits of the shading.

Kiwi Tank

I've seen some really cool cute tanks recently, and wanted to do my own take on one. It's based on a robotic kiwi drivetrain - three omni-directional wheels in a triangular formation. It can move in any direction at any time. Weird.

Big Up 3D Printing

Partly inspired by Al Crutchley's massive machines, and partly just because I thought I'd better draw one before it becomes a popular uni project - an industrial 3D printing vehicle - Mainly used for building low cost housing in developing countries, possibly after earthquakes etc.

It should have a small drone to load the front plough material into the hopper too, but I need to go to bed.

DaDa Da DaDaDa...

Judge Dredd! - Thanks to my housemate Alex for title.

Tom Smith and I were sat about in a pub discussing how cool Judge Dredd is, but how his bike never quite seems to hit the sweet spot. There have been a load of iterations, but somehow the mix of easy rider / cop bike is hard to pull off at the same time as adrenalin fueled justice dispensing action. Anyways, here's an attempt at Dredd's bike. Heavy hitting, unstoppable but most of all - silly.

Look at Tom's work. It is nice.

Drop Box

The Viper VPV (Variable Profile Vehicle) is a multi-purpose light chassis designed to be dropped by the NB4 Harrier Dropship. It is mainly used for scouting and special forces missions due to its speed of deployment. When transported underneath the Harrier the main gun can still be used, effectively turning the harrier into an anti-tank platform. Due to its lightweight construction the Viper can be dropped from a reletively large height. It carries a crew of two,  although it can also be operated remotely as a decoy or ambush vehicle. The Viper is equiped with Folicle Base wheels which use micro hairs to grip uneven terrain, allowing the vehicle to climb near verticle surfaces. The Viper shown is equipped with a PACE anti-armour gun, which accelerates flechette rounds to speeds exceeding mach 8. 

I know - back to greyscale vehicles! I haven't stopped that 10 project, but got frustrated with the face on a drawing. I'll come back to it after a little think.

Antenoctis Workshop are going to manufacture the Harrier Dropship as gaming a model. It will be available next year some time.

It's an Audi. A little bit overworked as per usual. I'll learn to restrain myself one day.

Funny how teachers always told you not to write what it was that you were drawing on the drawing. It seems like a pretty logical thing to do to me.
